Madburn is involved in all facets of the prescribed burning project; the preparation of burn plan, site preparation, pre-burn monitoring, ignition & control and, mop-up & patrol.

Prescribed burning projects are usually one of broadcast burns (as large as 150 hectares) or the burning of individual piles on landings or along road right of ways.

Annually, Madburn is involved with about a dozen prescribed burns around the province.

Every year, Madburn assists several companies in designing and implementing their fire suppression and control work to be fire ready, and to be able to supply manpower and equipment as needed.

Madburn is trained and experienced in fuel management to minimize fire hazard both commercial and privately.

This is accomplished by planning and implementing a fuel(vegetation) control plan to maintain the aesthetics while protecting the infrastructure of the site.
